New makeup Products

In the first, makeup artist Robert Welsh and Blend Bunny collaborate. It’s no surprise that this palette is making waves. The colors and high-quality formulation will allow you to create just about everything.

Prior to that, I have some hair to consider. Many of you asked for a tutorial last time I wore my hair like this. It’s simple! Pull the front sections of it back into a regular ponytail, leave out the ends for a huge loop and secure with a claw clip.

Primer: Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Glow

It’s the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Glow Primer that’s the first product I’m trying. I’ve performs. It feels like the texture, but is not as sticky as the original. The glow version has a nice subtle glow — something that was initially going to worry me but turns out it’s just a nice golden shimmer, and doesn’t look metallic at all, always loved the original Hydro Grip, so I’m anxious to get this glow version.

Unlike the original, this doesn’t feel more hydrating but it’s definitely something I’ll be reaching for again. If you have dry skin, apply a moisturizer over it.

Foundation: Collection Lasting Perfection Satin Foundation

I’m then testing the Collection Lasting Perfection Satin Foundation. It’s an affordable British brand that’s brought new life to their foundation line. Mine picked the satin finish because it claims to cover in full with a natural glow.

l applied it and was disappointed that it wasn’t as full coverage as I was looking for, considering my blemishes still showed. I found a better finish blending with a sponge, rather than with a brush, which made it look streaky. Overall I think the foundation looks good, but does feel ever so slightly heavy for the skin.

Concealer: Maybelline Eraser Concealer

Concealer I’m using maybelline eraser. I don’t have a new one to try, but this classic is an always trustworthy one. It goes on nicely and covers up any flaws.

Cream Bronzer: No7 Pro Artist Soft Glow Cream Bronzer

Onto bronzer and I’m looking forward to trying the No7 Pro Artist Soft Glow Cream Bronzer. I feel like the packaging at Chanel. It blends out easily and gives a nice natural warmth to the face. It’s a joy to work with, and pigmented, but not overwhelmingly so.

Blush: Beauty Crop Glow Milk Blush

Now for blush! I am using The Beauty Crop Glow Milk Blush. It’s a gorgeous peachy pink shade that goes on easy and smoothly with good coverage. There is also a mirror, a nice thing to include.

Setting Powder: It is No7 Pro Artist Loose Setting Powder.

The No7 Pro Artist Loose Setting Powder is next. I was excited for this one since it’s a really bonkers-sounding package. The powder itself was amazing (it’s insanely fine), but for the most part, it turned my face orange, I think. However, the color change worries me, and it doesn’t leave behind a silky finish like normal polish would.

Eye Makeup: Blend Bunny Palette x Robert Welsh

Now, let’s get to the fun part: the eyes! Using the Robert Welsh x Blend Bunny palette. The color selection is pretty great, and the packaging is pretty gorgeous. The first shade starts with the shade Horoscope, a dark teal blue, then I go on to pack the shade onto the outer corner of my eyes.

I also blended the edges using the shade Hydromancy. Oracle is just absolutely stunning shimmer shade and has an amazing duochrome effect. The look got some extra glam by adding some rhinestones!

Finishing Touches: Mascara and Lashes

Sculpted by Aimee’s Lash Lift Volume And Definition Mascara is for mascara, I’m trying it out. It’s a dry formula and I like it, and the lashes building up is great. I also used some half lashes from the Robert Welsh collection to give a little something extra without being too out there.

Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick and Natasha Denna Lip Liner

I began with the Natasha Denona Lip Liner in shade NP1 Natasha which is a creamy nude for my lips. After that I followed it up with Charlotte Tilbury’s Icon Baby lipstick. But the texture was very gritty and not to my expectations from Charlotte Tilbury. It was a strange sandpaper like feeling, which was disappointing.

I layered Robert’s gloss balm over the lipstick to salvage the look. It was to add a nice shine and helped to cover the textural issue with the lipstick.

Final Thoughts

The products of this makeup look are both loved and hated. The Robert Welsh palette and the No7 cream bronzer were the standout for me. And they performed beautifully, they added a lot of value for my makeup routine.
